For young Emmet, growing up is no longer about getting taller, but watching his family grow smaller.

 

Things change because things do, and change is something that is happening far too quickly for Emmet. His small safe world is unfolding, opening up to new realities and comprehensions he would rather not have, as those he loves, those who surround him are going away.
